(Update Feb. 11th, 2010)
Short film. A gothic, adventure, horror, action version of Red Riding Hood. The title character REDD is a young girl waging a war against an army of creatures in post apocalyptic America. We're currently in production. I hope to create something truly cinematic and adventurous. All being done for pretty much no money.
Planning on shooting the first scene in the next few months. And have a complete product before summer.
BUILDING A WEREWOLF
Here are a few pics of the progress I'm making on building this giant Werewolf for REDD.
Started with a card board base. Took some boxes and molded them to the shape I was looking for.
Added a duct tape skin.
Modified some latex monster hands I bought after Halloween for cheap.
Added layers of fur and bits of yarn and plastic table cover for the hair.
WIth the final layers of fur and the Red LED lights turned on.
Prepping for spray paint.
Gave it a few layers of black to give him that worn rugged look.
Here Brandon White tries on the head and arms. You can kind of get an idea of how tall I'm trying to get this.
Next up. I build the stilts and finish out the body. So far the cost spent on making this, $40.
